Small Business & Call Aggregation (20 phones & 10 Concurrent Calls)

The IBeX Edge is our entry level system ideal for the small office or or remote office.  The Edge is a solid state system with no moving parts to provide years of trouble free service.  Supporting 6 FXO and 2 FXS ports the Edge provides both trunk ports (FXO) for inbound and outbound calls and two analog (FXS) to support fax machines, cordless phones and other analog phone devices.

The Edge is also available in a single PRI configuration providing an ideal aggregation node for larger IBeX installations.  In this configuration the Edge will not have the capability to support many of the advanced calling features.  This configuration is targeted at installations where call processing is handled on a larger EnterpriseEnvoy or VMware system.    

Offering all of the same calling features as our three larger systems, the Edge series is ideal for applications up to 20 phones and 10 concurrent calls or as an aggregation node for up to 23 calls.

Layered on top of the hardware platform is the IBeX operating system and software, a combination of a custom Linux distribution, telephone switching software, web based management and automatic updates via the Internet.  The IBeX Edge system offers a combination of power, features and reliability that provides a VoIP platform that is unparalleled in the market.

Advantage

The IBeX Advantage is sized to support 20-100 devices/phones with a maximum of 60 concurrent calls.  With support for up to 4 expansion chassis (analog only) this unit can be expanded to support a wide variety of communication needs.

Enterprise

Very Large Systems (200+ phones & Lots Concurrent Calls)

The Enterprise series system is designed for large scale Central Office, Enterprise and PBX applications where NEBSTM compliance is not required.  This series is a carrier-grade system designed for demanding telecommunications applications. Available with AC power options this system will fit in any facility.  

 

Typical applications for this platform include VoIP carriers, large enterprise applications, call centers and other demanding call applications.  

Enterprise is targeted at installations with more than 200 devices and when a high degree of reliability is required.  

Enterprise core hardware features include; mirrored hard drives with a hot spare (3 drives), redundant power supplies and IPMI 2.0, (enabling true lights-out management by utilizing serial over LAN), remote power management, and remote system health monitoring of your IBeX system whether they are down the hall or on the other side of the world.

Envoy

Envoy Chassis Front

The Envoy series system is designed for large scale Central Office, Enterprise and PBX applications.  This series is a NEBS-compliant carrier-grade system designed for demanding telecommunications applications. Available with either AC or DC power options this system will fit in any facility.

Envoy core hardware features include; SAS-2 disks, redundant power supplies and IPMI 2.0, (enabling true lights-out management by utilizing serial over LAN), remote power management, and remote system health monitoring of your IBeX system whether they are down the hall or on the other side of the world.

IBeX VMware

VMware LogoIBeX VMware version is just what it seems, IBeX running in a VMware environment.  This version of IBeX allows for massive Scalability and supports our cluster configuration as well as having the same connection limitations as our Enterprise and Envoy versions.  

This version does not have the option of integrating with our expansion chassis so connection to systems and networks outside of the system must be accomplished through SIP or IAX2 trunks.

Expansion Chassis

Expansion ChassisIBeX Advantage, Enterprise and Envoy system can add telecom ports through the use of one or more expansion chassis.  These chassis can be configured with a wide variety of telecom interfaces to meet your specific needs.  The number and type of ports in the expansion chassis vary based on system configuration.  Your sales person can assist you with port configurations.

IBeX Enterprise and Envoy do not have built in ports.  Both systems use the expansion chassis for all of its telecom interfaces.  They can accommodate approximately 30 expansion chassis's depending on the port configuration of the chassis.
